Leda is a musician, mover, and educator from Rome, Italy, currently based in the UK.

After having received her music education through the Dalcroze Eurhythmics approach and having started to sing and play the piano from an early age thanks to a wealth of musical individuals, instruments, and genres in her background, she embraced the violin at age ten. Classically trained in violin in Rome (BMus), Manchester (MMus, PGDip, Royal Northern College of Music String Quartet Studio), and Paris (Classe du Quatuor at the Conservatoire Sergej Rachmaninov), Leda was one of the original members of the Aestus String Quartet.

In 2024 she was awarded a Johannes Cuypers instrument of the year 1797 by the Harrison Frank Family Foundation as well as the Ruth Sutton Fellowship of the Manchester Camerata.

Dalcroze Eurhythmics trained educator, violin, singing, and improvisation tutor, as well as collaborator in various music and health and outreach contexts, Leda is currently active as a chamber musician and teacher as well as curating a project entailing arrangements of Mediterranean music and original compositions for voice, violin, piano, percussion, and movement narrating her identity and hosting improvisation sessions.
